With the help of the adults and teens of the PTAF program, we can offer other Parish Religious Education Programs, High School, Middle School & youth groups, a variety of retreat experiences tailored to their wants and needs.  We would love to welcome your group to the Vincent Pallotti Retreat Center in Monroe New York or we can come to you.  wharever best suits your parish.
 
Although we can prepare a meaningful retreat to meet your needs, the following are sample Topics that are available.

"Why Catholic? - What it means to be Catholic and why our faith differs from other Christian sects. How can we live out our Catholic faith in a world that seems to be opposed to our beliefs?

*Gifts of the Spirit - A basic Confirmation retreat centered on the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit.

*Prayer- What is prayer? Why do we pray? How can prayer become an integral part of our lives? Different kinds of prayer to use in all the different times of our lives.

* Difficult Issues: What are the issues that we as Catholics may have to face?
(Birth Control, Abortion, Gay Marriage, Euthanasia, etc.). What does the Catholic Church teach about these issues? What does society say about these issues?

*Anchoring Your Faith: Who are our heroes? What are the things that mean the most to us? What do we think is important? On what do we spend our time & money?

*Sacraments:  What are the Sacraments and what is the significance of each?  What is Grace and how do we receive Grace through the Sacraments?  Why do we need Confession?  

*The Saints - Our Examples in Faith:  How can we use the Saints in our lives.  How can we follow their examples  in times of hardship, joy and in our everyday lives.

* People in the Bible:  Who are the people from scripture that brought us all to Faith. 

* Family Retreats / Family Catechesis - Designed to meet the needs of the Parish Group and meeting the needs of the Archdiocesan requirement for Family Catechesis.

* First Eucharist - An experience for those children preparing to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist.  Through song, games, crafts and pray the children can see the holiness and joy of the Sacrament.

* Boy Scout Religious Awards - Retreats designed to satisfy the requirement for a retreat experience for both Al Atare Dei & Pope Pius XII

* Women's Retreat - A 2 day experience covering various topics.  A prayerful encounter with Jesus.

* Men's Retreats - Custom retreats designed to the wants of the group.  Give us a topic and we will create a retreat experience for you.
